What were the top three memorable moments on your wedding day? Why?
Groom:
- Seeing Anna walk down the aisle and how beautiful she looked and realizing all of the work and planning we have put into the day has all lead up to this amazing moment.
- Our photo session between the ceremony and reception and knowing that it is the first thing we are doing together as a married couple. The weather was perfect and just being together was a great experience!
- Our first dance. We had practiced almost everyday and having it all come together perfectly in front of all of our family and friends was a memory we will cherish and never forget.
Bride:
-
Walking down the aisle and seeing Sean at the other end smiling at me, surrounded by our amazing family and friends. I couldn't help the tears from streaming.Side note: Sean and I sat by the map wall at the Nash when we went for dinner during our first trip together - then we got married in the same place by the map wall 2 and a bit years later
- Seeing everyone on the dance floor at the start of the dance, hands in the air, big smiles on faces, letting loose. Remembering this moment will forever bring a smile to my face!
-
Getting ready with friends before the ceremony. We were lucky to have some friends staying in the same hotel, so the night before the wedding I had a big group of friends squeezed in the suite and I'm sure the hotel rooms around us heard our laughs and lively conversation! I remember feeling so thankful and happy in that moment. I will also never forget all that my friends did to help me get ready on the day of the wedding, from taking photos to wrapping up sandwiches in ice to helping me stay on track
Where are you going for your honeymoon? Any special reason for going there?
We are going to Reno, Nevada and Lake Tahoe! We wanted to go to a place that offered both city and nature in a place we haven't been before. The pictures of Lake Tahoe look amazing so we're really excited!
What are the best wedding advice that you want to share with other couples?
Keep it small! Keeping it small kept things intimate and enjoyable for us. We got to connect with all of our guests and have moments of downtime together as a couple. Were also able to use a unique venue due to our smaller group of 35 guests.
