Can you share with me how you two met and how it began?

We met in University, when Mike kept crashing Ina’s events. Mike was invited by friends to go to a Sushi night downtown. Little did he know, Ina had organized this event for the Women in Science and Engineering club at the University, and Mike and his friends just crashed the event. Several months later Mike was invited to go out to dinner with some friends again, this time at the Moroccan Palace, and again he ended up crashing a dinner that Ina planned. We started talking after this dinner, and our first real date was at Zoo Lights shortly after that.

Also so how long have you been dating ?

We dated for seven and a half years and have been engaged for one year, so 8.5 years total.

What was the most romantic things he/she did?

There's no one individual romantic event.  Instead, there are the countless small gestures that we do everyday for one another that show attentiveness, care, and love.    

How did he propose?

We went camping in Waterton during the Wildflower Festival weekend. It rained almost the entire time, and our tent soon started turning into a very leaky raft. We went hunting for some roof patching material and some tarps, and soon our tent was fully sea-worthy! Wanting to dry off, we decided to warm up with tea and dessert at the Prince of Wales Hotel. During a brief intermission from the rain, we stepped outside to enjoy the scenery and take a few pictures. We were on the edge of the hill overlooking the mountain valley. Ina pulled out her phone to take a picture of the hotel, and when she turned back around, Mike went down on one knee and asked her to marry him!
